Happy Easter! We hope you all had a wonderful one. We had a very good day & we even had a visit from the easter bunny!

Our girl is walking!

Aubrey finally after months of working with her, stood up & walked about 8 steps to bring me something! It was so fun. This video is not the "actual" first steps but soon after. There will be no stopping her now.

Aubrey's 1st Birthday!

We had a great time celebrating Aubrey's 1st Birthday. She is growing so fast! We had homeade ice cream, a baby ladybug cake, and opened presents. It was a fun day!

Jeff Came To Visit

We got to go visit Kristol, Spencer & Jacob this weekend. We had Christmas presents to deliver & the weather looked like it was going to be clear for a little while so we headed off. We had such a fun time. Davie came up from Provo to play for a little while. Aubrey got her first birthday present from the Petts. A cool xylophone & fishy container! She really loves them & now that we are home they are the only things she wants to play with. We might have a percussionist on our hands. We also got to go see my friends Christine & Jackie. It was so wonderful to see them again.

Run away Butterflies

While in Seattle we got to go to the Seattle Science Center. We all had a great time. Aubrey's favorite exhibit was the butterfly house. It is just a room with free flying butterflies. Aubrey would follow the colorful things flying all over. A couple were just inches from her death grib as she grabbed for them!!! Needless to say we hurried through and tried to control her arms & hands in the proceess. I am happy to say we enjoyed the butterfly house & got out without any casualties.

Christmas

Ok, I know it has been a while so we have a bunch to catch up on...... Christmas was so fun! We got to go to Seattle for the holiday season & take a break from the ice & heavy snow of Idaho!!!

Downtown Seattle is such a fun place especially during the holidays! They have live bands, it snows in the mall, thousands of lights everywhere, lots of people shopping & enjoying themselves, all the shops have really fun windows & some of the hotels have displays such as the one above of crazy things made from gingerbread & candy. It was so much fun to walk around down there & enjoy the sites. Aubrey did get a picture with Santa although we did not stand in line to get it. We were standing on the side looking at him when he was taking his break so we snapped a pictures, so Aubrey technically got to see Santa this year.

This was our steak Christmas dinner that got a little out of hand. Although they were doused in baking soda, they were salvaged & delicious!
