Air & Space

We went to the air & space museum. Not the one downtown, but the Smithsonian also has one up by the airport. We decided to check it out today & we had a marvelous time. This is the space suit that the astronaut are launch in.
This is a cool thing that the astronauts can look out into space from.

The plane above us is the kitty hawk. The one that has the big teeth!

Overall we saw lots of cool stuff. They also had this cool movie in a blowup planetarium ( a blow up dome that we sat in). It was about Big Bird & Elmo looking at the constellations & going to the moon. So fun. It was actually so cool.

Round 2: Trunk or Treat
We had a gentle bee & Cinderella on her wedding day. They had a wonderful time dressing up! OH YA- and getting lots of candy.

And Mary Poppins was even there! I wish I would have taken a picture of her standing up! Her costume was so darling. Aubrey totally thought she was the real deal & loved talking to her.

And so it begins!

And so it begins, the beginning of Halloween events. We went to a fun trick-or-treat event in Rockville Maryland. They had trick-or-treating, crafts , balloon fun, a sung/dance entertainer, and much more. We had a wonderful time. I think it is the age, all three of the girls were princesses. Much more Halloween Fun to come soon!

park fun

One thing Virgina has is really fun parks! This park we went to is next door to the CIA. So Cool. Anyways, my friend Nikki introduced us to this park and I am so glad she did. So Fun!

It is seriously a huge park. It took me three shots to take a picture of all of it.

This weeks adventure took us back downtown. We were going to the air & space museum , but protesters were down there protesting droids and were blocking the entrance. So we went with plan B, The Art Museum. We actually had a wonderful time and saw lots of fun & interesting things.There were Picasso's, Monets, Renior, and much more! We also went to the taste of DC . There was live music, good food, and fun events going on. What fun! (Hopefully the air & space museum soon to come!)

festival

We went to a fun county festival today. We got face painting, played in blow up bounce houses, socialized with the firemen from the area, pet animals, saw cool model trains that blow smoke, balloon animals, hay rides, horse rides, and our pick of delicious homemade breads & local vege's. So fun! What could sour this fun day..... Rain, lots of rain. Although wet and cold by the end, we had a wonderful time.
